Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Who Touched My Phone app ("WTMP", "the app", "we", "us"), developed by EasifyStudios (Emre Erol), handles your information. WTMP is designed as a privacy-first protection tool for your own iPhone. Our core principle is simple: the app helps you protect your device, and it does not read your messages, photos or personal content.

Information the app uses

The information the app works with is retained on your device and is not collected by us. We do not store your name, account information or photos. WTMP does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email or contacts in order to use its protection features. When you delete the app's data — such as intruder selfies and event logs — from your device, we retain no copy of it, because it was never stored on our systems in the first place. Certain third-party services used by the app may collect limited technical information as described below.

Camera and intruder selfie

If you enable the intruder selfie feature, WTMP uses your iPhone's front-facing camera to capture a photo when an unlock attempt fails. These photos, along with related event logs (such as the time and date of an attempt), are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to our servers and are not shared with us or any third party. You can review and delete them at any time from within the app or your device. The camera is used solely for this protection feature and for no other purpose.

Third-party services

The app uses a small number of third-party services that may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

  • Apple services — including the App Store and Apple in-app purchase / StoreKit frameworks required to deliver and operate an iOS app.
  • RevenueCat — used to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. Standard purchase information and an anonymized user identifier are sent to RevenueCat to validate and restore purchases. This does not include your name, account details, photos or other personal content.
  • Firebase Analytics (Google) — used to understand which features and onboarding steps are used most, in anonymous and aggregate form, so we can improve the app. We do not use it to collect your name, account information, photos or any private content.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle data.

Log data

In the event of an error or crash in the app, diagnostic information may be collected through third-party services. This may include technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app configuration, the time of the error and basic usage statistics. This data is used to diagnose problems and improve reliability.

Cookies

The app itself does not use cookies. This website uses Google Analytics, which may set cookies to measure anonymous, aggregate traffic. Third-party libraries used by the app may also use identifiers to deliver their services.

Security

We value your trust in providing your information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

WTMP is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
